Terms of service

These terms apply when you use pentaservices.co.uk, create an account or order services from Penta Services. Each project may also have its own proposal or statement of work; if anything conflicts, the signed proposal applies.
Quotes and orders
- Prices on the website, in the cost estimator and in quotes are shown in your selected currency and exclude VAT or sales tax unless stated.
- Placing an order through your account reserves the listed price. A project lead then confirms scope and timeline; the contract starts when we confirm the order and receive the first payment.
- "From" prices describe a defined starting scope. Larger or custom projects are quoted individually before any work starts.
Setup fees and monthly plans
- The setup fee covers the agreed design, build and launch work. The monthly fee covers hosting, maintenance and the services in your plan, and starts when your service goes live.
- Annual billing is charged at ten times the monthly fee for twelve months of service.
- Limited-time offers and bundle discounts apply as described on the pricing page at the time of your order. Offers apply to setup fees only unless stated.
- Monthly plans continue until cancelled. You can cancel with 30 days' notice by email or through a support ticket. Fees already paid for a billing period are not refunded unless the law requires.
Payment
Invoices are due within 7 days unless your proposal says otherwise. We may pause work or hosting for invoices more than 30 days overdue, after giving you notice.
Your responsibilities
You provide content, brand assets, access and approvals on time, and confirm that you have the rights to everything you give us. You are responsible for the legal content of your own website, such as your privacy policy and terms.
Ownership
Once the setup fee is paid in full, you own the design and content created for your project and your domain name. We keep ownership of our own reusable tools, code libraries and know-how, and give you a licence to use them as part of your website or app. Third-party software, themes and plugins remain under their own licences.
Hosting, support and availability
We aim to keep hosted services available and secure, with backups and monitoring as described in your plan. Response times and any uptime commitments are those stated for your plan. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
Search and AI visibility
SEO and GEO work improves the factors search engines and AI assistants use, but no one controls their results. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or citations; we guarantee the work and report on it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data you could reasonably have backed up.
Accounts
Keep your password safe and tell us about any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or unlawful activity.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you a right to bring claims locally.
